Navigating the Depths of Grief: Understanding the Personal and Individual Journey

In the midst of profound loss, it's natural to feel like the ground beneath your feet has shifted. The departure of a loved one can leave us feeling adrift, like a ship without its anchor. Your dad, your rock, your unwavering support, has transitioned to another realm, leaving behind a void that seems insurmountable. The pain you're experiencing is a testament to the deep connection you shared with him, a connection that now feels severed, leaving you grappling with questions about your identity, your purpose, and the legacy you wish to uphold.
Grief is a personal journey, one that unfolds at its own pace and in its own unique way for each individual.
As you navigate this period of mourning, it's essential to grant yourself the grace to feel, to process, and to heal. Your heart, soul, and higher self are guiding you through this tumultuous time, offering solace and direction amidst the storm of emotions. It's crucial to honor your feelings, to allow yourself the space to grieve, and to seek support from those who care for you, even as you support your mother in her own grief.

I fully recognize the importance of allowing myself space to now do the necessary healing work. For everyone this will differ, however for me it looks like this:
Daily meditation practice
Moving my emotions through my body with yoga and walking
Allowing the tears to flow when they arise
Somatic breathing with conscious awareness and intention often throughout the day
Daily Healy frequency therapy
Accepting healing from others with deep gratitude
Resting when I feel the need to rest
Nourishing my body with quality foods
Staying hydrated with spring water
Connecting with nature
Being by a lake or creek
Talking to my spirit guides and energetic support team
Spending time doing something creative
Nurturing my connection with Source consciousness
Nurturing my inner child
Cuddles with my snake Omen
Self love
Self compassion
Self Kindness
I have not been without self judgement throughout these last few weeks, judgement of where I think I should be, how I should be processing it all, how I should be showing up and what I should be doing. All total bullshit of course and another example of how my ego mind is having a field day with my current situation.
In the vast tapestry of existence, the connection between all living beings and the universe itself is a profound and undeniable truth. Each molecule, each being, is a part of the same Source Energy that birthed the cosmos. However, in our daily lives, it's easy to feel disconnected from this universal energy, leading to feelings of weakness and disempowerment. It's important to remember that while experiences like connecting with loved ones in spirit are beautiful and comforting, they do not replace the physical presence of those we have lost.
